Treatment Procedure

Before beginning treatment, our medical staff has to do a preliminary clarification of the indication, a focused physical examination and other diagnostic procedures (eg ECG, ergometry, lung function testing, inspection of the ear) to check the fitness for pressure chamber.

If there is already carried out a preliminary investigations by your treating doctor, please bring these documents.

2.Treatment

Normaly the treatment is an outpatient procedure. Depending on the underlying disease 10-20 units should be carried out.

3. Recovery

The first effect of HBO usually occurs between the 5th to 10 Treatment unit. After completion of HBO therapy is an after-effect phase of 4 to 6 weeks in which there may be a further improvement.

60% -70% of patients are alleviated by the HBO therapy.
